1.Ethio telecom intends to acquire an optical Network Management System (ONMS) to identify available technologies, solutions, and industry best practices for monitoring Optical Distribution Networks (ODN) and Metro Fiber Networks.

This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather information from qualified suppliers regarding available ODN monitoring solutions, system capabilities, deployment approaches, scalability, integration options, and operational benefits. Hence, ethio telecom invites all interested and eligible bidders by this Request for Information (RFI) to provide information for an optical Network Management System (ONMS) with RFI No. 4286885. The Tender remains floating from August 22, 2026, to September 21, 2026 

2.Interested bidders can obtain the RFI document from ethio telecom’s web sites www.afrotender.com, www.extratenders.com.et and www.2merkato.com Upon registration of all necessary information without any payment.

2.     Bid proposal will be received at ethio telecom, Head Quarter 2nd Floor, Room   No. 206, before or on September 21, 2026 until 5:30 P.M. Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date shall not be accepted.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

3.     Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in this RFI

4.     No one is allowed to duplicate or transfer the bidding document that she/he acquired to participate under this invitation. Legally authorized agents shall collect the bidding documents for each principal they represent.

5.     Ethio telecom reserves the right to reject all or parts of this RFI.
